Master Coach Course
The Master Coach Course is a two-day face-to-face course, that provides coaches with the certification to oversee a group of Academy Coaches run the MCA program at a school.
There is also the opportunity for Master Coaches to facilitate Academy Coach Courses if they have the required experience and capability.
Course Structure
This course features a hybrid learning model, with both online and face-to-face components:
Foundation Coach Course Modules
Complete 6 modules before participating in the face-to-face sessions.
Coach Workshops
Covering all cricket skills including fielding, batting and bowling.
Communication Methods
Understanding how you can educte others to build their coaching skills.
Assessment
Your learning will be assessed by MCA Coaches before being certified.

Do I need any prior experience to take this course?
You will require at least 5+ years of high-performance coaching experience. Coaches who are accepted into this course will be handpicked by qualified Cricket Victoria coaches.
What does this certification mean for me?
Being a certified Master Coach is the highest certification you can receive through the Melbourne Cricket Academy. Certified coaches will oversee MCA programs through schools and ensure all Academy coaches are delivering the course as expected.
How do I access the course content?
Once you enroll in the course, you will receive a login to our online learning platform where all the course materials, videos, and resources will be available for you to access anytime.
What is the price of the Master Coach Course?
The Master Coach Course has a $1000 fee to enrol. This fee doesn't include any transaction fees or charges at the point of registration.
How long does my certification last?
12 months. Once you have reached your 12 months, you will be asked to complete a short course that ensures you are aligning to the MCA Coaching philosophies and practices. Upon this completion you will be certified for a further 12 months.
